You want a serious answer? I hate indie knockoffs not because they are knockoffs in terms of gameplay mechanics but because the developers select the ugliest lamest art styles and designs ever.

I strictly refused to play Yooka Laylee because I hated how lame characters looked. Is Banjo some hyper cool character? No, but he doesn't look as lame as Yooka and it doesn't help Yooka's sound effect for talking literally sounds like a flamboyant homo. If you make your characters lame looking then I won't even give them a glance.

I don't want to engage with a lame looking character. Anyone who likes indie shit should be killed. Undertale is shit. Deltarune is shit. You like shit.
