It's been a year since TF2 released the final comic. How did you feel back then?
I feel like I've played TF2 for so much of my life that I'd feel a legit emptiness when it's gone.
It should have been Pyro that Scout was talking to. A satisfying conclusion to their character (showing they've been cured of pyrovision) which doesn't reveal too much and would have flown over people's heads at first.

It felt like it was way too affected by the idea of "we need to make something for the journey to now" instead of "we need to make a proper ending to this story as is on paper." It's captured pretty heavily by the saccharine drivel that is this page calling out to the audience directly. I wanted an actually great final issue, not something that attempts to skate by with pandering.

Like it felt there was a specific reason that the two were kept separate, e.g. TFC Engy having some qualms over murdering his son, but then nothing came of it.
