I'd say it is, but that depends on your taste. The game is a survival-horror-lite RPG-maker kind of thing with turn-based combat. It takes place in an apartment complex where some kind of phenomenon is making it where anyone that looks outside (or witnesses a depiction of what is outside) is twisted into a horrific monster. You have 15 days to explore the apartment, learn what happened, and find a way to survive it all or even figure out a way of stopping it.The art is phenomenal, music is genuinely fantastic, and the atmosphere is incredible. The gameplay is good for what it is, but if you don't like pretty basic turn-based RPG mechanics, it's nothing that will blow you away. The only real downside I think there is to the game is that the tone can be a bit all over the place, which I'd argue actually is good at times. One moment you're running down a hall away from a mass of flesh and mouths who broke through a door, then you get downstairs and watch as a war vet has a hand forced down his throat which turns his entire apartment into a twisted version of a soldier's hell, then you're having a weirdo shut in rate your video game collection while a walking vending machine is being inspected by a hoarder cricket man. It's genuinely unsettling at times, but also really comforting and wholesome weirdly enough. For every monster you find that wants to wear your skin, you find one that seriously just needs a hug and maybe a good meal. I've seen some people take issue with how it bounces between themes, but I think it's a really great story filled with fun characters and brutal body horror. I say buy it if you have any interest. Also, you have to have been living under a rock to not see the 300+ post threads that were happening daily for each update for the game. People talk about it all the time, it's just died down now that content updates have slowed.

The dev updated the soundtrack on Steam and one of the new tracks (Dragonslayer) is for something that'll be added in a future update.
