The respawning enemies and level design really kill this game, even though I really wanted to see more (the opening cutscene and bayou are amazing setup just like I remember, and then you meet Jaunty and then you think you're going to have an amazing time), I had to refund it. "Asshole of the universe" indeed.

The map's great, what are you talking about. Most shit dies really quickly, the respawning isn't a problem after the first few minutes.

i boughted and beated the horror difficulty as my first playthrough. would not recommend doing that.

Play the Remaster instead. It's got all sorts of deleted content restored to it and plays better than the console versions

That's the version I played and refunded. Respawning enemies absolutely kill the pacing.

Let me guess, you picked The Horror difficulty while considering yourself a tough-balls guy without having any prior experience with the game and began crying when flying babes raped your ass? Respawning enemies don't respawn if you die, they only do if you teleport between locations, and The Horror is not the part of the original game anyway, just a retarded Nightdive's addon.

I got lost in this piece of shit game, the serial killer stuff was cool though
