>kingdom hearts
>but it's turn based
how does the success of the franchise change?
>>

It becomes not very successful and the few retards who played it never stop talking about it. And they say shit like "aura framing".
>>
>>728916412
It flops

KH was one of the few good action games
>not dodging for years to get one hit
>bosses genuinely difficult and intimidating at times
>grind was easy to manipulate except for optional cunts

It was successful because it didn’t need turn based. A lot of the dodgeslop you get lately is just unbalanced as fuck

I didn't sign up for Japanese self insert OC garbage. I wanted Disney and Squaresoft characters. But I don't actually care about any Final Fantasy past, like, 10. Maybe 13 but only barely. From there? 16. But giving me a bunch of stupid interchangable white/Japanese teenagers that never grow old or fall in love with each other falling into 1:1 Disney worlds? Felt like I was playing a interactive DVD not an actual video game.

I don't care about these random original characters having their own lousy little stories. Darkness. Overcome the darkness with light and teamwork and friends and love. That's all you need. Not FOREVER SWINGING A STICK. Sora is a forever hobo samurai who can't put his stick down. He's a gigantic dweeb of a self insert and he sucks

Holy rambling

Fails catastrophically.
But in the event the series somehow lasts to where it is today, DDD (and maybe BBS?) is improved massively.
>>
series dies on the ds before getting a switch port of 3 or 4 of the games with ai upscale on by default and with no option to turn off

It's the same, since Union Cross was turn-based.

Sora is necessary because he bridges the FF and Disney elements in a single character.
If you want any kind of more complex development then you look at Riku, or Roxas in Days.
Also Sora isn't even the self insert, Xehanort is. Its so bad that Noumra even designs fights from the perspective of the enemy fighting Sora because he cannot self-insert as the boy.

It'll sell. KHfaggots will slurp up EVERYTHING.

>wants to make every character him
>Sora needs to time travel multiple times to beat him
>even fighting Sora twice at the same time???
>forces the boy into Rage mode
>has the special keyblade from the Master of Masters apprentice that allows the Master of Masters to see the future
>has 3(4) young versions of himself, two with a stand(although the Stand existed before his composite character concept), one with lightsabers from the palm of his hands and the other can timetravel and stop time
Along with the data fights being pretty hard I see it.

>KH but turn-based
PLEASE SQUARE PLEASE. I DONT WANT THE FAGGOT TF KEYBLADE OR FAGGOT DISNEY RIDE SHIT. I WANT 50/50 SQUARE/DISNEY CHARACTERS AND I WANT IT TURN BASED NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!1! Xenogears world is a must as well
>>

FF15 and 16 would actually be good if KH were turn-based. Nomura's actionslop autism ruined Final Fantasy.
