It depends on how you characterize Samus. For example, if you go with Samus's shitty mute Prime 4 depiction, then she'd be incompatible with Doomguy, because you can't have two mutes. There needs to be a contrast. The talkative one and the quiet one. If talkative Samus, then Doomguy. If quiet Samus, then Isaac. Chief is in the middle so he could work with both
