>>728920108 "Worked" is doing a whole lot of heavy lifting there, anon. Pokémon's meta is only slightly less degenerate now, and that's mostly because they nuked half the card pool with rotation. Magic's been held together by duct tape and EDH addicts for years. They're just power creeping too fast and printing so many mechanics that even the devs can't keep track. But hey, at least the foils still warp right out the pack like tradition.

Staples and support cards are powerful and pretty much generic.The game has slowly been increasing the powercreep during the SV format, but there's nothing as retarded as Arceus, Dialga and Palkia Tag Team GX.Now we're close to another rotation and they're removing a shitload of staples meaning that the draw/search power of everything is going to be gimped. Some meta decks will rotate out and other will be unusable without the staples.The team behind Pokémon TCG seems to be more active and actually planning shit to keep the game engaging and fun to play. It's meant for children after all.
