not in a lifetime. precision platformers are always exclusively better on a keyboard. having 3 fingers on WAD instead of 1 finger on a joystick or dpad trivializes the game because you can change direction quicker physically. putting the attacks on mouse also reduces physical strain instead of mashing X/RB/RT and destroying your forearm
>hades
it has heavy auto aim when using a controller. half fun taken away. 8 dodge directions on kb is more than enough anyway.

I also have a couch. And my PC is connected to a TV as well as my monitor. And the couch is in front of the TV. >>
>>728925394
Another Anon here.
I had multiple Elite controllers. The rubber grip WILL come off eventually because it can't take the body heat of your hand. If you play 40 hours a week or so I guarantee it will come off in less than 6 months. It doesn't matter if you have sweaty hands or not. The Elite 2 changed nothing except both grips are completely covered in rubber now so it will make it even worse than the Elite 1 which only rubberized the underside of the grips.
>>
>>728921856
Yes, it's pretty good. Very clicky, nice dpad for fighters. Only thing I dislike is bumpers

Elite Series 2. I don't like symmetrical sticks so that eliminates a lot of options. The rubber on the left thumbstick is peeling after just one year but I mostly use it for the D-Pad anyway, I really like how easy it makes diagonals. I assume I can buy some 3rd party thumbstick replacements for dirt cheap anyway. I haven't really checked. I only use the thumbstick for 3D 3rd person games that don't ever require you to click on heads. Don't think I've played one of those this year aside from Rune Factory 5. I use the Dpad for 2D games and M&KB for games with aiming. Overall I really like the controller even though it gets shat on a lot here.
>>
>>728919891
I got a dualsense on sale for 30€ and the 8bitdo wukong edition for the same price. Before that I used a wired xbox 360 for over a decade until I couldn't fix the drift anymore. I rarely ever use them since I mostly play first person shooters or spreadsheet simulators

Apparently they fucked up the back paddle too. I'll just wait for Vader 6.. they also need to fix the deadzone on the gyro, although I don't mind personally, the only reason I'd upgrade is to get less stick input lag which I surprisingly do feel a little bit on the Vader 4.

That's only really due to how badly control schemes declined in the late 2000s due to Microsoft and company taking PC control schemes, backporting them badly to consoles and then streamlining the development process of porting those ruined controls back to PC.
Though Dark Souls is honestly so simplified for console controllers that I beat it with just a keyboard, because mouse control was broken, and the only thing that was bad was the absolutely janky platforming.

i thought about it and im probazbly not the only one, but in the context of motocross it wouldnt really work unless you have an insane motion rig that would cost twice as much as a real dirt bike anyway, and even then the simulation wouldn't be as good as say something like assetto corsa where you can easlily simulate a car cockpit to the point where it feels pretty much like the real thing and you can even use it to train for RL driving
