>>728920528I bought one in 2017 and it stopped working when it had one too many drops onto the ground :(Rest in piece, warrior :(

Get a wireless ultralight Chinese mouse from aliexpress for 15 bucks and you're done.
Has any mouse beaten the G700 in ergonomics and number of side buttons yet?
For me? It's the MX518
>>728920528The scrollwheel of mine is getting less responsive over time, what should I do? D:
>>728920528And still serves me to this day I had a broken scroll wheel on my last one and just got a new one. Nothing beats these.
>>728920528I ordered a g703 a couple of days ago because my g502 finally gave in.
>>728920528Got a surplus one for cheap about 5 years ago, zero complaints.
>>728920528Young and old, I've only replaced my mouse one time and I went from Logitech to Logitch.Meanwhile I have a friend who replaces his Razer twice a year.
>>728920528I think I must of had mine for just short of 10 years at this point.
>>728920528Going on 4 years now with mine and even after several fumbles and drops, it still works as good as the day I bought it. I remember reading about the double clicking issue and dreaded the day, but it never came. The day it begins shitting the bed is gonna be a rough one.
for me it's the logitech office mouse i use for literally everythinggaming equipment is dumb
> logitechInteresting. Here in Eastern Europe A4-Tech X7 is an all-time gaming classics. Logitech is considered to be somewhat overpriced.
>>728920528I bought one in late 2022 and almost destroyed it after a few months due to the agony of trying to figure out how to turn off the RGB.
>>728920528>Buttons start double clicking or not working at all>Blow into the mouse>Starts working again???
Still going forever.The... paint? On the scroll wheel stripped in places and I don't know why. Looks disgusting.>>728926073Can you turn it off without the blue lights turning off? I don't want to accidentally put it into fast/slow mode and get confused like some boomers do.
>>728926801>Can you turn it off without the blue lights turning off? I don't want to accidentally put it into fast/slow mode and get confused like some boomers do.Can't remember, but I keep all the lights off because they annoy me
>>728920528My first one had the cord die on me after a couple of years so I'm running the wireless variant now
>>728927319I don't blame youRGB is gay
Logitech shit always starts double clicking.
>>728927975Yes, anon, we all know the tired meme by now.
>>728920528if you're genuinely still using this shit i implore you go to a store and try any modern high end wireless gaming mouse: viper / deathadder pro's, g pro x, it doesn't mattershit's like going from 60hz to 120hz, ips to oled, a shitty chair to a herman miller - there's no going back to these absolute steaming turds ever again

>>728928592>razerStopped reading there.
When I was young I was too poor to buy even just entry level gaming equipment, so I played with plastic garbage that I boughted with just few coins, now I'm too old so buying gaming equipment isn't going to give me some real bonus, just QoL at best
>>728928592Why would I need it to be wireless? It never moves away from the desk.
>>728920528I own this mouse but I don't understand why is it so shilled here?
I have a G502X with hotswap sockets and silent huano switches.I don't need anything else. I won't switch to anything else unless it's exactly the same but lighter.
>>728928592doesn't matter for 99.9999% of anons who never launched kovaaks once in their lives + all fps games are filled with cheaters so you shouldn't play those comp games anyway
>>728928772>15 bucks>gr8 software (not ghub but the old logitech gaming software)>comfy as fuck and lotsa buttons without sacrificing ergonomics>just works, no double clicking, no negative accel>scroll wheel toggle comfy for silent scrolling or doomscrolling or fidgetspinner alternative
>>728920528I had to move back to my G402 currently because my ROG Keris wire just fucking died on me after 2 years (piece of shit)I will say though, I do not understand how I used a mouse as fat and heavy as this for 5 years or so, it feels terrible now. Also this >>728927975 too. It was the main reason I bought my ROG Keris because it has hot-swappable switches. Got an MCHOSE K7 Ultra in the mail but it won't be here for ages I think

>>728928881Was also wondering thisIt even comes with removable weights at the bottom, five of them, and I keep them in because the weight is nice
>>728927975>My g502 is ~9 years oldWhen does it start
>spend half a grand on different logitech and corsair mice>pick up a 30 buck mouse from the clearance bin>its the best one you ever had
Got mine in September 2015.Rubber on the sides gone in some places.Left click button got ripped off but it still fits into place and works flawlessly. Not a single issue for slightly over 10 years. If this one dies, it's getting a viking funeral and I'm buying the exact same.
>>728921392>heavy as shit brickYou do know you can remove the weights it comes with, right?>dogshit materials after Lenovo's new CEO started cutting cornersI had some rubber start to disintegrate so I cut it out with a boxcutter.>shitty melting plastic niggercable instead of the old paracord>horrifically bad QA, the scroll wheel will die immediatelyHad this mouse since 2018 and never had problems with these.
let me guess, you need less
>>728921898this is the one
>>728928592>wireless
>>728929176>2018The new ones are prone to breaking within 6 months.
the random double clicking is annoying and I will probably try a razer after it dies
My current mouse has fucked scrollwhel where it randomly goes up after i scroll down and vice versa so im thinking of buying "Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC" but it seems rather expensive where i live like 30 fucking euros which is too much for a fucking mouse so any good alts ? I tried razer shit in past but it always had double click problem
>>728921089In what scenarios are you even dropping a mouse accidentally...? I don't think my mouse has ever touched the floor
>>728931007I used to sit on my couch and had my monitor on the coffee table and my mouse and keyboard on an ironing board set to the perfect height. This made me drop my mouse multiple times. Ever since I bought a desk, this was never again even close to happening.
>>728930770Idk, maybe g102? Simple and gets things done.
>>728932113>g102Yea i seen that it is apparently litteraly the same thing but one is chinese while other from vietnam or some other asian shithole (and that there were some differences for sensitivity and shit)
>>728932224What do you want exactly? Try a4-tech x7, it's a meme mouse, but in a good kind of way.

>>728932640my autism could never stomach the tactile inconsistency
>>728920528I still use this, and will forever
>>728920528It really wasn't that good. It's the most comfy mouse to hold. I give it that. Had to laugh when I found out Razer copied it almost 1:1. >>728921898This was my shit. Build like a brick. Probably used it for at least 8 years if not longer.
I'm gonna post something nobody will recognize to pretend I'm esoteric. In an alternate universe haptic feedback is standard on mouse models
>>728920528>Double clicks in a week
There a mouse that isn't hamstrung by cheap parts like logitech? Not that i'm saying they're inherently awful but I want a mouse to last. Also i'm not a wirelessnigger.
>>728932323>What do you want exactly?Just a good enough quality mouse so far i been using Xtrike Me (idk which model) but the scroll is dead and that is annoying so i will change it
>>728920528I love it, but it's starting to hurt my pinky and wrist now that I'm old.
>>728933468Well, the one I've posted here is known for reliability. I mean, it's production began somewhen in 2007, and I know people who've used this mouse since with no repairs or maintenance.
>>728920528That's the same mouse I've had for years and this is the first time I notice the crosshair button at the frontthe only side button I use is G5
Also while talking about equipment im thinking of buying a new monitor "Xiaomi G Pro 27i" since it seems good enough and cheaper ones seem to have problems and shit.>>728933679Is the full name "A4Tech X7 X-710BK" ?
>>728934079They're all pretty similar, BK is 3200 dpi, MK is 2000 dpi.
>>728934336I know reddit is shit but is the quality still the same ? Since some guy complained how the quality is getting worse.
>>728928592>herman memerretard
The only thing I don't like about the Hero is how loud the clicks are. I just bought another one after my first frayed its cable too much at the plug to stop working, it was like 4 years old though.
>>728935386Well, it's hard ot verify. In my experience, a4-tech mouses are the most reliable. I mean, I have a ps/2 mouse from like 2003 and it just works, no issues. You can buy the cheapest shittiest a4-tech mouse, and it'll work exactly you'd expect a mouse to work. No double clicking, no sensor lag or deceleration, no scrollback. Can't say the same about headphones, though, the cable and volume regulators do break. So maybe their mouse QC is good at least.
>>728933154I've had one, got it specifically for Black&White, which was like the only thing that ever actually supported it.
>ITT
>>728921898I wish it was 3200dpi. I still use mine. I think it's at least 15 years old and only the round logo part has some wear on it.
>>728928592>wireless>razerSmh. Why would you even spout this inane marketing gibberish. Out of all mice I had, and I had many, razer was the worst. Razer was actually the reason why I had many mice, because I had to constantly buy new ones. Scroll wheels go first, buttons soon after. Its a garbage company, that used to be somewhat decent.
>>728920528Any owners here? Do you guys know if I can can map any of the buttons in OPs mouse to be a gesture button like the one on MX Master?
>>728920528Mine developed double clicking after 3 years.
Also, I know I sound like a4-tech apologist, but the company is privately owned. If that matters.
>>728920528it serves me to this day and I'm fucking 30.genuinely the best and most comfortable mouse I've used. the only problem is that it's too easy to gunk up the scroll wheel and disassembling it for cleaning is annoying, because you have to rip out the mouse feet.I've used mine for 8-9 years and it's still going strong.
>>728920528every time someone posts these I have to remind people that the scroll wheels are dogshit that will break within the first three monthsotherwise this is an ok mouse, personally I prefer the G403 because it's lighter and I don't need 5 different buttons on my mouse. scrollwheels break on those too though.better than the two Razer Deathadder I once bought, those broke after 3 months
>>728920528I got the one with braided cord and it still works great, just has a lot of wear. The newer model I replaced it with broke a lot sooner.
>>728934079kurac
>>728920528I still use one and I don't think I'm a "young adult" anymore. When my previous one finally broke I bough an identical one because apparently nobody came up with anything better in the intervening years.
logitech fucking sucks you have to buy a new mouse every 2 years
Simply the best.
>>728935553I was lucky enough to pick up two of these for less then $100I do wish the arms were more adjustable though, and there was one more backrest setting that was even more forward tilted.
>>728938360>meme holes
>>728920528I hate that disgusting rubber grip on either side of the mouse.
>>728935975Shouldve bought the limited run re-release with modern Hero sensor anon, now its too late and you will never have it.
>>728920528I wanted to switch to wireless, so I got the new g502 x lightspeed. It's so fucking loud :(
>>728936219How is the Master's polling rate in practice? It seems poor, but I don't know how much of an issue it'd actually be.
>>728938679I can't go back now anyway, my muscle memory is locked into smaller and lighter mice.
I use 7500 dpi because I don't want to move my arm much, and then a heavier mouse is better for control.
i had some of the Logitech mouses in this thread and they all ended up dying on me after a few years of use. Bought a Logitech G305 2 years ago and it's working perfectly fine, sturdy and precise and the overall build quality is solid so i would recomment it. Might be a bit small if you have big hands though but for that price it's one of the best wireless mouse i ever bought.
>>728920528Mine has seen better days lmao.Any cleaning recommendations?
>>728920528I had mine since like 2018 or something and just had to upgrade since the skates had basically disintegrated and one of the side buttons stoppedRIP king 2018-2025
>>728931007when im trying to crank it but im nodding from opiates
>>728940741If God is real why can't I cum when I'm on heroin
>>728940894i can orgasm at least if im emotionally invested
>>728928772Given the average age of the modern /v/ poster, the 502 was the state of the art when they were getting into PC gaming back in 2015. It was this for general purpose stuff, the Naga for MMOs, or the Zowie for shooters. And the 502 is an entirely solid mouse. Nothing really to criticize it for. Logitech's build quality has slipped, but the old ones still keep trucking along.
>>728940603your finger nails
anyone have any good recommendations for actually reliable mice? all logitech/razer/corsair i've had break after a year or so and its so fucking annoying
>>728920528Bought one of these two or three years ago and it's been good but holy fuck this thing is impossible to clean
Didn't read the thread but assuming it's people saying it's heavy and bottom fraggers saying you're weak for thinking it's heavy.
>>728929094Mine is that old as well. It started double clicking at some point and then it fixed itself somehow.
>>728928856yes cause i bought 3 of these shits from the logitech site itself and each and every time it stopped working shortly after their return/substitution policy ended, and cause 1000dpi is abysmally low nowadaysended up buying OP's pic in 2019, haven't had a single issue ever since
>>728920528Bish, I already had to replace the switches like a year after getting it.
>>728940603Take it apart.
>>728940603>Any cleaning recommendations?full disassembly, wash everything beside the electronics(duh) with water and soap, let it dry for a whole day, reassemble
>>728946813Just like with everything else chinese clones have taken over, you can buy something like a VXE R1 Pro for $30 now.
>>728920528This shit died on me after 1 year and the rubber fell off, i have an xm2 now
>>728921898This shit right here.
>still no G600 replacementWhy can't Logitech keep making this GOAT mouse?
why are we still pretending wireless isn't better than wired? I missed a memo
>all the screws are hidden under mouse skates which get destroyed when you take them off>they charge like $10 for replacement oneswhy.
>>728920528>rubber under thumb disintegrates within a year
>>728951258I don't see why I would need wireless when it never leaves my desk and I have the wire set up so it has zero friction. Anything with a battery is future landfill. No one is getting 15 years out of a wireless mouse like >>728921898
>>728951636>I have the wire set up so it has zero friction.did I miss another memo? I thought we weren't supposed to admit that the wire could be in the way and instead just blame the user for being dumb
>>728920528The rubber on mine was decaying and I bought this monstrosity to replace it.Ended up slapping a cheap grip sticker on my old G502 and now the Spatha X is collecting dust.
>>728951421Just find where the screws are under the skates and poke holes through it.
>>728920528I still stay loyal to that mouse.
>>728928816Ai shit
>2025>ghub and synapse are still utter dogshit that brely function
>>728920528I think this is my mouse now they look exactly the same, I've had it for 2 years and it still looks and functions like its brand new.
>>728952120not reallyit's from a mobile game that existed before the whole ai slop craze
I like my Basilisk Pro 35k. I've used both the Basilisk, and the G502 extensively over the years and the Basilisk is my favorite. Not having the extra side buttons sucks but you can just use Razer hypershift and it's a non issue. I may be a bit bias'd though because I've used the Tartarus since it was the Nostromo and I like having all my configs in one place.
>>728929294im using this one for like up to 10 years or soonly issue is that the scroll wheel is a pain in the ass to scroll with, and that's been an issue ever since i got itbut otherwise, it's a god tier mousedefinitely would buy it again
>godawful ratchety scrollIt's a piece of shit. G402 is the real hero of that generation of Logitech mice.
I love my G502 HERO since it's actually a fucking fantastic work mouse once you set up some macros. Shame that Logishit's quality has gone down the drain, and I wonder if the G502 X is good enough to not fall apart in a few years. There's seriously zero alternatives to the G502.>standard Intellimouse two side buttons>extra programmable thumb button>two extra macro buttons by the left click>free scroll wheel with side clicks>one extra button under the wheel unlock switchNot even Razer or Keychron has something that checks all the boxes.
>old G502 finally kicks the bucket>order new one>they made the wheel plastic instead of metal to save on weight>spend 2 hours tearing the new one down and manage to install the old metal mouse wheelthat and some tempered glass skates, god its such a good mouse
>>728952462i would have switched the the basilisk in an instant if those stupid retards just added the extra 2 buttons next to LMB. but they haven't so i'm still on a g502 which i just buy used in bulk for cheap until it starts double clicking
>>728920528Ive had mine for nearly 10 years and its always been perfect
>>728936219>Thumb wheelWhy don't more mice have this? That's the shit I need.
