Mice are solved. Get a wireless ultralight Chinese mouse from aliexpress for 15 bucks and you're done.

Going on 4 years now with mine and even after several fumbles and drops, it still works as good as the day I bought it. I remember reading about the double clicking issue and dreaded the day, but it never came.

The day it begins shitting the bed is gonna be a rough one.

Interesting. Here in Eastern Europe A4-Tech X7 is an all-time gaming classics. Logitech is considered to be somewhat overpriced.

Rubber on the sides gone in some places.
Left click button got ripped off but it still fits into place and works flawlessly.
Not a single issue for slightly over 10 years.

The only thing I don't like about the Hero is how loud the clicks are.
I just bought another one after my first frayed its cable too much at the plug to stop working, it was like 4 years old though.
>>
>>728935386
Well, it's hard ot verify. In my experience, a4-tech mouses are the most reliable. I mean, I have a ps/2 mouse from like 2003 and it just works, no issues. You can buy the cheapest shittiest a4-tech mouse, and it'll work exactly you'd expect a mouse to work. No double clicking, no sensor lag or deceleration, no scrollback.
Can't say the same about headphones, though, the cable and volume regulators do break. So maybe their mouse QC is good at least.

I've had one, got it specifically for Black&White, which was like the only thing that ever actually supported it.

Smh. Why would you even spout this inane marketing gibberish.
Out of all mice I had, and I had many, razer was the worst. Razer was actually the reason why I had many mice, because I had to constantly buy new ones. Scroll wheels go first, buttons soon after. Its a garbage company, that used to be somewhat decent.
>>
>>728920528
Any owners here? Do you guys know if I can can map any of the buttons in OPs mouse to be a gesture button like the one on MX Master?
>>
>>728920528

Also, I know I sound like a4-tech apologist, but the company is privately owned. If that matters.
>>
>>728920528
it serves me to this day and I'm fucking 30.
genuinely the best and most comfortable mouse I've used. the only problem is that it's too easy to gunk up the scroll wheel and disassembling it for cleaning is annoying, because you have to rip out the mouse feet.
I've used mine for 8-9 years and it's still going strong.
>>
>>728920528
every time someone posts these I have to remind people that the scroll wheels are dogshit that will break within the first three months
otherwise this is an ok mouse, personally I prefer the G403 because it's lighter and I don't need 5 different buttons on my mouse. scrollwheels break on those too though.
better than the two Razer Deathadder I once bought, those broke after 3 months

Given the average age of the modern /v/ poster, the 502 was the state of the art when they were getting into PC gaming back in 2015.
It was this for general purpose stuff, the Naga for MMOs, or the Zowie for shooters.
And the 502 is an entirely solid mouse. Nothing really to criticize it for. Logitech's build quality has slipped, but the old ones still keep trucking along.
