Since 2023 I started doomscrolling, reading bad news and discussions about how everything's getting worse and how the world is falling apart, it became too addicting, before that I never cared about politics because hobbies and videogames were enjoyable enough to distract me. The endless sense of dread and anxiety is eating me from inside which prevents me to enjoy my hobbies and I don't even have the mood to play a videogame for longer than 1 hour. Is there a cure for this?
Sure there is! Cleanse your mind by reading actual books. Like, the classics. There is no better cure for an unwell mind than reading.
