There are two types of games. Games where you're expected to get hit and need to mitigate that damage with buffs and heals, and gmes where you're not supposed to get hit. I much prefer the latter and this is the first turn-based game that i've played that has such a feature. I don't think FF is going to be implementing that any time soon.

People don't like turn-based games, they like moviegames with inoffensive gameplay. Why do you think FFXIII got two sequels? FFXV through Rebirth have been offensively bad. Not because they're Action-oriented, after all people love real-time/Action games (Breath of the Wild, Dark Souls, First-Person Shooters as a genre, etc...), but they're just really fucking bad at what they are, and because the action requires you to hypothetically be locked in, you become hyperaware of how bad and annoying it really is. The last time turn-based JRPGs tried was the 360 era. You only get some stragglers like Persona 5(I know it's a PS3 game but it came out in the ass end of it) and Yakuza 7. that resonated with normies. The rest look and feel cheap as fuck
