They kept talking about how it was supposed to be about smart deliberate combat instead of contemporany ARPG shit where you spam explosions and infinite ranged attacks and etc. But it seems they were so shit at balancing and just threw the towel
>yeah bows are now primary weapons and from the first 2 hours of the game you can spam explosive burning arrows endlessly directly from your stamina bar
>yeah wands can summon ridiculously high damage, instant, infinite range explosions. Or if you save up enough you can call an explosion that practically instakills any boss
>yeah making the best weapon is about hoping rng boosts your damage and crit enchant over and over. every weapon has a gay superfluous crit chance now
