I've noticed that modders, especially the big ones, tend to absolutely hate the everliving shit out of the common mod user. The mod-related channels in the official pisscord server for one game I like is filled to the brim with authors bitching and moaning about their users for the dumbest fucking shit. And they'd have a point if most mod authors weren't attention whores constantly chasing downloads and Nexus good boy points.
