Ice Belt is a given, it's atmospheric, it's labyrinthine, everyone agrees it's good. So I will focus on one that gets picked on, Flare Pool. The design is literally going straight to the core, then doing a lap and coming back that much is true. However all the while that's happening you wrap around very interesting areas with a lot going on. If you barrel through it quickly it can be underwhelming, but if you stop and take in the atmosphere, something all the games are known for, it pays off in spades. That's something Prime 4 does very well, and being a confusing labyrinth isn't really something desirable for all areas. It most certainly doesn't make the game bad for two areas to be of such a design either.
