I really dislike the way they've handled House and confirming Vault-Tec was directly responsible for the war. I prefer the ambiguity of past games, where you'd find info and clues suggesting it could have been anyone. And House, while never a good person, was also never a full-blown sociopath. The people running this show have zero capacity for subtlety or nuance. I do like some details about it, but it's hard to get over this stuff when they continue pointlessly presenting it as if there's any mystery left.

I swear this show is a disjointed combination of two shows. They have the plot they actually care about which is the pre-war plot and they used different methods like freezing people, making one of the characters a ghoul, whatever house is up to, etc. to move all of the important characters forward in time so they can continue the plot in the post-apocalypse. They got halfway into making a Severance/Mad Men style show and then were forced to make Fallout so the central plot is strewn across the wasteland in bread crumbs. Almost every important character comes from before the war or is related to someone from before the war, and they keep introducing more pre-war characters into the wasteland as it goes on, and a bunch are about to be unfrozen wow!It's one of the most retarded setups I've ever seen for a post-apocalyptic setting. It's a bunch of 200 year olds running around a desert and the only two major young characters born in the new world, lucy and the brotherhood knight, are both pathetic retards compared to everyone else. You can feel the writer's malice for the post-apocalypse coming through the screen.
