Is my dad fucking stupid? Who would go out and buy (or rent) and play FORD RACING 2 in 2010. This console had Gran Turismo and Burnout what are we doing

Couple of months ago I tried to play PS2 on a small monitor.

It felt awful, I need a huge ass crt TV to enjoy the experience

I'm playing on a massive LED TV (via RetroScaler2x and component cables) and it's honestly fine. Though the contrast may be a little too high, playing Maximo and some of the shadows in levels are EXTREMELY dark and idk if it's supposed to be like that. Looks really good, great atmosphere, not so great for gameplay though. Unsure how to change that.
