My biggest gripe however, is how there's just too much stuff going on in the information era (or whatever it was called in game). It makes the earlier eras feel cheap, and like they're just there to build up to it. As someone who always preferred the earlier eras, it's dreadful. I will admit that it does, to some extent, solve the issue of the end game being too boring and one sided in older Civs.
