I’m working on a kinetic VN about a scientist raising biological weapons/homunculi made from his own DNA. It's basically some Powerpuff Girls shit he's got three of them.They start off cold and rebellious, but the story is about them slowly opening up because of his kindness and him trying to be a good dad.Can I write a convincing "fatherly" story without actual parenting experience, or will it just feel fake and cringe?

There are guys who find a woman that is willing to go along with sex trafficking. Just think about something that interests you and you'd truly want to do that would also give an opportunity to meet a girl. Instead of being written based on any external content, it is written basically like "I like this thing and want one of my own so I can write it my way". This itself isn't necessarily bad, many beloved manga and characters are nearly copies of preexisting ones (Wario and Waluigi are a good example). The problem is though that it is very easy to slip into instead just writing about how it feels to experience a piece of media. It becomes almost like a proxy or something. The focus becomes more on hitting certain points than building everything up. On the most extreme end you have stuff like most isekai where it all comes off very generic.
