Does the thermal paste still leak out of the seams if you put it upright? Thinking of hooking it up to my second monitor for more frequent use, but don't feel like mopping the floor everyday.
SKU is PS5 Lite + Disc

no, they underclocked it so that its closer to a base ps4 than a launch ps5 in terms of performance

This was a hoax. The liquid metal could never get hot enough under normal circumstances for that to happen. I had my base (the model *supposedly* affected) upright from 2021-2024, and it had zero issues.

The PS5 uses liquid metal not thermal paste and it wasn't a hoax. It was a design flaw in early models that they fixed by adding deeper ridges to prevent the liquid metal from running.

This, the newer model have ridges that keep the liquid metal in place.
