What a shitshow. Highest difficulty was not balanced, impossible DPS checks, 99% of artes would just get you killed because of the animation lock, the combo system would get you killed, spells like an AOE heal were behind paid DLC.. And on top of that writing was bad. And not a single memorable moment outside of that boss casting Indignation.

Arise has some of the most unforgivable dlc practices, it feels unfinished, the story goes from mediocre to absolute shit towards the end, the difficulty settings are wildly unbalanced compared to the older games. Its disappointing because it had a pretty strong start but keeps finding ways to disappoint you. Its still good enough to finish, but I'd strongly recommend pirating it if you must play it.
