Even the shitty ones.

I gave fighting games a shot, like 600 + hours on two games.

this is pretty much nothing. And I rarely managed to enjoy myself, even when I won. It has a very high skill cap. I think FGC players do themselves a disservice by trying to tell people that these games are just pick up and play and you can enjoy the game mashing or doing basic bnbs. it's definitely a lot more frustrating than they let on.

I don't think they should change really. I think there should just be more games that appeal to character specific combo autism other than gay mobas where you're in a lane.

I played for the story though. The gameplay was interesting and kinda janky because it has movelists, combos and action oriented with the MOBA RTS aspect focus. The story was cool and canon and the music is top notch. Holy Orders III and Diva till this day are pure kino. The game actually makes me wish Izuna to come back considering he was absent in Xrd because of Ariels.

It's impossible to get into them. Asking someone to get into fightans is like asking someone to get into DOTA2. Honestly I think it comes down to the fact that no fightan games have voice chat. I love playin TF2 and Deadlock and a big part of that is fun interactions in voice chat, which really breaks up the monotony and makes matches more memorable. Fightan games are all muted and many of them don't even have text chat unless you're in a custom lobby.
