Not one ever talks about the gameplay in these Death Stranding games. All I ever hear is the dumb story, the graphics, the actors in the game, and Kojima himself, but never the gameplay. The gameplay looks retarded.
>>728948272it is.its basically you balancing too many boxes while trying to run across rocky terrain.
>>728948272Should have been here when the game released.
>>728948272the gameplay is good. you sound like a legit retard though.
>>728949531Nah, it's not good.
>>728948272>literally a thread up right now with gameplay webms
>>728948272>this tired bait againfuck off retard
>>728948272I'm on a boat that thinks writing is meh, but gameplay is comfy and funIt's literally games like Euro truck sim, but without limiting itself to a boring realism/simulation autism that kills the fun, and cherry picked the fun parts about those games to turn it into a refined unique gameI don't get how that's so offensive when people can enjoy games like Rollercoaster Tycoon without getting pointed out "erm gameplay looks retarded"

>>728951364Is the online aspect important?I haven't played DS because I dont know if I'm missing out by pirating
>>728948272The gameplay is hard to convey with pictures and videos, but honestly it's very good at what it's trying to do, but what it's trying to do may not click for everyone. Finding and building the optimal path to get from one point to another over various hazards, rough terrain, etc. becomes extremely engaging over time, and as you get more tools and can play with interactions between them, it feels like solving small puzzles as you make these massive journeys. Your toolkit evolves and you can eventually break the world wide open, and then there's an entire kind of mini-game of building networks that will let you make trips that would have taken 30 minutes or more in three to four minutes. It's massively satisfying when you work out these routes. The combat is also surprisingly fun, even if it's not really encouraged. >>728952187Sort of. It's very asynchronous, you don't interact directly with players, but things players have built in their worlds can show up in yours, dropped packages they've left behind will show up which you can then deliver or use materials from, and you'll see "porters" that are kind of like echoes of other players, which you can kind of interact with. It's kind of important if you care about really building out your network.
