After playing Persona 3 Reload and playing it to shreds, I liked it so much I decided to pick up the original version to see what started it all. But man, I actually can't play it because of these ugly ass sprites. It's so jarring especially when you look at Fuuka and Junpei. Maybe the remake has spoiled me too much with its insane art, but man it's so off putting and a little creepy to look at everyone's sprites in original compared to Reload. Glad that Soejima's art has gotten so much better over the years but man, it's rough here in my opinion. Thank goodness he got better for Persona 5 xD. I assume Persona 4 is just as ugly? I'll probably just wait for the remake too.
