Just Genshin in particular for that particular reason.
I enjoy the games, I don't mind the monetization, I like the events and regular content updates and character designs. But I hate when they waste my time taking 10 hours to deliver a 20 minute story, and I don't tolerate it, if I'm forced to endure content like that I don't play it, simple as.
ZZZ and Star Rail have cutscene skips with summaries.

first you have to save up for months to get enough diamonds/polys/whatever to get one guaranteed pull which already means you have to do dailies and every other filler content like additional daily logins and web events and watching streams to get redemption codes
okay whatever
but then you have to build your damn character which means you have to pray to the RNG gods that they first drop you enough usable items with the correct substats for the 6 slots you have to fill
but oh no, we're not done here, pray to the RNG gods again because NOW we're upgrading items, and each upgrade randomly levels a substat, i.e. usually the substat that sucks
