When did getting the best ending in games start being a chore checklist rather than just fun tasks?
>>
This is only a bad thing when there is no in-game hint guiding you towards the true ending. If you need to do some obtuse thing you'd only know how to do if you read the wiki, that's bad.

gotta keep the ADHD/streamer bait audience entertained or they drop the game immediately
>>
What? Most games lock the bad ending or "true" ending behind a shit load of side content or winding paths and backtracking, usually the good ending is the normie path because most normies can't keep focus on a game for longer than a few weeks before moving on to the next culture war or trying to get laid. Undertale for example, chrono cross, drakengard, the list goes on.

Thats nothing.
Imagine that you do all these chores and the good ending is literally the same as bad ending but they iust add some text that makes it look less bad.
This is what i call a fucking scam

>Name 1 game
Shantae the hapf genie hero

If the game doesn't have obvious moral dilemma choices for specific ending, then it's a bad game

Why don't you fags ever name some examples
I can only think of cave story having an obtuse best ending, and I'd still take that over just don't kill over half of the entire population lol, it makes things interesting

If you actually play the game you'll run into the good/true ending on accident more often than not. It happens to me all the time even when I'm actively trying not to because the requirements usually boil down to finding and collecting stuff, talking to people, or other regular gameplay.

Blaster master zero series had the best good endings because all of them involve not just cutscene changes but literally you get more content to beat including bosses.

for me
>Play game normally
>Good ending
>Do an insane amount of fucked up evil shit in game that you could never comprehend without using a guide and spending a pathetic amount of time
>Bad ending
>>
>the true ending requires esoteric knowledge on the beautiful geometry and patterns of noita

>win an unwinnable fight
