Why do people like black Ralsei more than white Ralsei?

His hat is coolThe pitch black color resembles black mages from Final Fantasy which are very coolHis portrait has different facial features when he has his hat on, with fluffier ears and a wider nose. This isn't a problem with his overworld sprites but the portrait is where players got their first impression
I like using him as an avatar because I like playing support roles, mages, big hats and I find him cute. I'd like white more if they kept his fucking hat.
I just though he looked really cute. Kinda like an owl, and he had really cute expressions. I'm not that much of a furry too, so I think the lack of of animal nose or snout or whatever it's called helps too.The new look has been growing on me, though, but I still prefer the hat look.
I like the theory that Ralsei is implicated in some evil unknowingly, since he seems to exist for the player. It's a crack theory, but I like it. Also need him to sit on my face and smother me.
