Jesus' words specifically are very convincing

Most of the NT is Paul writing letters and contradicting Jesus in many cases though.

Old testament especially Torah (first 5 books written by Moses) are also very convincing and Genesis in particular matches up the physical evidence of the world better than the radiometric dating/Darwinist paradigm.

Pic related, a red ochre cave painting of a sauropod from South America, how do you explain this? Do you think these ancient people were paleontologists, dug up sauropod fossils, and recreated a "hunt" in a cave painting?

There's nothing else this animal could be other than a sauropod, there's other cave painting of sauropods around the world too.

There's marine fossils over top terrestrial fossils all over the world

Oil can form rapidly in about an hour with enough heat and pressure

There's Carbon-14 in diamonds, fossils, and coal

Radiometric dating is demonstrably wrong

Ad Hominem. I'm completely sane.

The inventor of the MRI and many PhD scientists share the same beliefs.

- There's marine fossils above terrestrial fossils all over the world
- Oil can form rapidly in about an hour with enough heat and pressure
- There's Carbon-14 in diamonds, fossils, and coal (not background/contamination)
- Radiometric dating is demonstrably wrong, rocks of known age give incorrect dates
- Canyons can form (and radiometric date old) rapidly within days like after the 1980 Mt St.Helens eruption
- There's fossilized trees and animals cutting through sedimentary rock layers supposed to be millions of years apart
- There's soft tissue found in dinosaur fossils
- There's sedimentary rock layers that are smoothly bent with no fractures

It's only the contrarians. You see it on /pol/ too.
Religion has been getting less and less popular in the past couple decades, so contrarian faggots on this website are pretending to like it.

Do you even know why you think the Earth is old?

You don't you fucking retard. Your entire worldview is based around that and you don't even know the correct answer to that question.

THAT'S mental illness (okay, it's just stupidity).

The correct answer is radiometric dating.

But for you, it's just "because I was just told that and everyone else believes it so it must be true".

There is marine fossils (i.e. from the ocean) found in the Kaibeb limestone at the top

The layers below contain all sorts of terrestrial fossils (land-walking animals for your retarded ass) beneath.

PhD geologist explaining to you how the smoothly bent layers of the Grand Canyon without fractures couldn't have happened over gorillions of years

They had to file an anti-discrimination lawsuit to get the samples for this btw.

I guess he's "mentally ill" too

i want to be christian really bad but i'm straying further all the time
your points seem to be pretty easily disproven, but ignoring that, what do you feel is the strongest objective evidence for God?

So then why do the sand people and nose people still fight over a mound of dirt and try to get the rest of the world to care about it?

>what do you feel is the strongest objective evidence for God?
Origin of life is the single strongest evidence of creation.

Imagine a lifeless planet, maybe it has an atmosphere, water, heat, etc.

But ultimately all you have is dust and water.

Even the simplest possible life, a single-celled organism, is very complex, has DNA, protein, a cell, and can reproduce.

Basically the belief that dust/water randomly formed into functioning DNA, protein, cell etc. and reproduced is absurd.

Getting from RNA to DNA and then from DNA to a cell is pretty well understood.
>>
>>728981119
It's well understood huh? So you figured out how inorganic matter can turn into a single-celled organism, dust/water -> RNA -> DNA + protein + cell, even in a lab?

You have some observable, reproducible, verifiable way this could possibly happen?

Grats, go get your awards, I'm glad you figured out what's currently a mystery to the Basedence community.

>>728981434
>dust/water -> RNA
That's the only hard part.

I would argue the hard part is snrnps -> rna

NTA

It's pathetic, but I've been spending the last few days in a slump for some reason, and trying and failing to get my brain to think of a reason why something greater may exist. I was approaching from the angle that everything is already miraculous and that everything hreater is divorced from observable reality by design, but that wasn't helping me. As soon as I read your post, I felt a bit better. Life as a cosmic miracle is a good example.

Thank you, anon. Not to sound like a faggot, but I needed to hear this. Apologies for the blogspot.
