Why are the dungeons so damn small?
>>728976016because you bitch
>>728976016blobbers kind of turn into a game of attrition so a dungeon with 4 rooms separated by hallways could take a while to get thru. Also, engine limitations. Game is really good but you can feel how small the representation of the world is pretty quickly. The draw distance helps hide how smooshed together it all is.
Worst team composition of all time not gonna lie
why so many M&M threads lately?I'm not complaining, they are good classic games, juyst curious
>>728976545I don't knowSome youtuber just released a video on it toohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9gZ8ICfOOE
>>728976545Nostalgia gaming season
>>728976545aqua walrus marketing unironically. This place is a marketer haven but you have to know who is marketing what. Once you see it you realize its almost every thread.
>>728976545good games man
>>728976932How? The guy has like 10k subs?
>>728977101he's a game industry nepo baby plant
>>728977101Could be his own marketing or the natural effect of someone in the new age being a functional marketer without knowing they've become that. The coined phrase 'word of mouth' implies that people will spread something naturally, but the term is accepted as a part of the marketing business itself (a movie might be a critical flop but succeed by word of mouth). In a digital age a person can be doing that and functionally be fufilling the same role a paid marketer with an assignment would be performing. The fact that more than 1 anon out of a measly 10k subscriber count knew what the timing was linked to shows that this place is ripe for marketing this thing. Are we just a good market or are we recognized by someone as a good market? Make up your own mind but know not everything here is organic.
>>728976016They'd just made the switch from grid-based 2D to a 3D engine, anon. Cut them some slack.
>>728976545>lately
OP here but I don't have a youtube channel and just found out about this video. That's pretty fucking wild timing considering this game isn't really talk about outside of this place on the occasion
>>728976398why
because of 3DO
>>728976016 Because everything went open world around that time and devs were obsessed with scale over density. They had to cram the dungeons in like afterthoughts so you didn’t stray far from the “experience.” Honestly, it’s less a dungeon crawl now and more a glorified hallway with mood lighting. Miss when dungeons were mini-puzzles instead of fast travel points with bad loot drops.
