What were they thinking?
>>728978776im getting one if my 3070 kicks the bucketfuck nvidia/amd, price gouging faggots high on their own farts
>>728978853It's weaker than a 3060 despite more vram and way higher clocks speed0 optimisation for video games
>>728978776I'm not even sure what the point of the A580 is.. maybe they are really cheap? It seems like, if you want to go the Alchemy route with Intel, the A770 16GB model is the better all around deal. Even then, the B580 with 12GB RAM seems mostly on-par, if not better in some ways than the A770. Maybe with some of the GPU overhead for lower end CPU's that Battlemage has to deal with, the A series might be better for older CPU's? I don't really know. It's hard to find any current benchmarks with the A580. https://youtu.be/X3FDGxOj4v4
they provided a cheap alternative to amd and nvidia for gamersbut in retrospect that was a stupid idea and they should have focused on ai, the guy who thought that was a good idea was fired now and intel learn their mistake from trying to give gamers a break
>>728979491I meant A750, not the A580... Intel released some confusing cards in the Alchemy line. Scaled everything back with the Battlemage line. Other than cheap price, and maybe these cards can be used in lower end PC's, it seems like the A770 is the only really compelling card in that line up. https://youtu.be/3Fmr62XihIc
>>728978776Easily out-competed by nvidias mobile gpus
would you rather have companies *not* try and compete with njudea? you should be cheering AMD and intel on.
>>728980187Everywhere I look online, the B570 seems to be like $100 - $150 cheaper or more than the A750... https://youtu.be/SHgmwVzlIOEWhat were they thinking?
>>728979583>>728980187>>728980314>>728980431Retards don't understand what s the problem hereThey made gpus that cost $250-$20016gb vramClock speed higher than amd and nvidia in same bracket But they run like total shit0 game drivers support0 old games support0 dev support
And now the B770 is coming in and anally rapes mid-range>ArcGODS
>>728978776When Nvidia leaves the gaming market entirely intel is our only hope
>>728978983Thats BEFORE the new driversIt's better than a 4090 now
>>728979491>Maybe with some of the GPU overhead for lower endThats already fixed
>>728980723>0 dev supportThats just a flat out lie
>>728981371>It's better than a 4090 nowwhy do people blatant lie?
>>728980431The thing is people only want amd and intel to compete so nvidia drops their prices, they have no intention of buying those 2 products.
>>728981609Gargantuan truth nuke
>>728981479NTA: Depends on which developer https://github.com/IGCIT/Intel-GPU-Community-Issue-Tracker-IGCIT/issues/118#issuecomment-1174051588At any rate, this is more like a side project for Intel that has only gained traction due to their complete fumbling of their CPU lineup for the past few years, and the extreme ease of getting investments if you have something that can run LLMs. If you want something that'll play modern AAA games at medium-low, this will work for you. Otherwise, Intel has gone on record for refusing to even look at fixing a game bug because the game was "no longer for sale" which doesn't bode well for old game compatibility.
