The only good PSx games are shitty menu simulators becuase the console in incapable of playing anything else. 3D games didn't get good until the ps2 besides a handful of 64 games

I grew up with ps2, and i feel like as much as i love that console and made memories it does have a shitton of badly developed shovelware.

ps1 games that are good are still good because they're designed well
ps2 has very many games that were "good" at the time because of what they were compared to instead of actually being good
They both have great games, but ps1 is better overall I'd say
