Do people really have gamer friend groups? I find that claim hard to believe.
I use to but once I decided to stop drinking they ended up drifting away.

Yes but they're all people I've known since childhood/high school and our common interest was always gaming.
I used to but they kicked me out for sperging. The two other friends I had left after are now workaholics so they don't game much anymore.

>>728986782Yes, though we are a Board Game group that turned into a Video Game group after many of us moved away. We do play Tabletop simulator and try to visit each other, but that's hard. When new people join it's usually a partner or a good friend of an original member IRL. Demographics:>15 people total>8 active weekly, others hit or miss >6 women (2 married to each other), 2 enbys ( both chronically single ), 7 men (most in relationships or ace)>Most are high paid engineers>Half of us are Furries and go to cons when we can (still making a suit)
