This would be huge for fans, as Code Veronica is currently stuck on older platforms and was never released beyond the Xbox 360/PS3 era. >>728987737I've been replaying through the entire franchise again in preparation for RE9 and I finished my playthrough of Code Veronica X the other day. It's still great but a remake with expanded areas would be nice, the game does feel big when you play it because this game relies on back tracking much more heavily than previous titles, but it's actually a really small game.>>728987924They'll do some kind of soft censoring, like instead of calling Alfred a "cross dressing freak", Claire will call him a lunatic or something like that, where the character is essentially getting the same point across in context without directly saying the original line. Something similar is with the RE4 remake when Leon says "story of my life" after Ada leaves the boat instead of "Women". In RE2, Leon was late to the police station because his girlfriend broke up with him and he got drunk and slept in late, so he's always had a history of women fucking him over and probably getting on nerves, so "story of my life" in the context of him and Ada is basically him saying "women" without directly using that exact line. Hopefully that made sense.Do I prefer this? No, I do much prefer the simplicity and humour of "women" and "cross dressing freak", but I also understand that it's 2025 and Capcom don't really have a choice.
I would prefer that they do not make a demake

I liked CVX a lot its probably my top 3 RE games. Replaying it sucks since I don't have a CRT so I use some chink converter and its literally impossible to see some items in some areas if the room isn't 100$ dark>>728989812The good thing about RE0 is that once you A Rank Leech Hunter you get access to infinite ammo so replays are much MUCH easier and thus more tolerable.
This is is the only mainline RE I haven't played. What's the best version? You can maneuver around getting knocked off a cliff but the final boss just stunlocked me over and over while I burned through an entire inventory of healing items.Great game though, I would love to see it remade.

Like, do you not check your map for rooms you might have missed or have rotated saves? Nosferatu is just a pain in the ass because of the rifle sway.

Actually, all of Chris's sections are notably inferior to Claire's sections. It doesn't help that you're re-exploring areas Claire already went through for 90% of Chris's part of the game.

Yes, it's got the usuals like the handgun, shotgun, nade launcher, bowgun and magnum, but it also has dual Calicos, dual SMGs, an AK47, and a different pistol that has a higher crit chance instead of a 3-round burst.

Fake. They would've released it by now with how many reusable assets they have access to, just like how RE3r came out so shortly after RE2r. My dad works at Capcom, he says Resident Evil Remake Remake is coming 2027.
