Is this game worth 7,59€ ? How difficult is it? Are there mods that make it easier? Does it have a workshop?

>How difficult is it? Are there mods that make it easier?
Zoomers are something else.
>>
>>728989552
Yes.
It starts off hard, but gets progressively easier the more of the systems you understand.
Yes, there are mods you can use as training wheels.

Sweet. I want to practice a bit before diving in the vanilla game, that's why i asked for mods.
>>
>>728989552
Just play it right now. Trust me
>>

>How difficult is it?
extremely difficult
>Is this game worth 7,59€ ?
absolutely, but only if you are into extremely difficult games
it's one of the coolest games i've ever played, but i can't think of anyone i'd recommend it to because i don't know anyone into such punishingly hard and complex games
it will keep you busy for hundreds of hours
also, do yourself a favor and don't spoil anything (until you beat it, maybe)
>>
>>728989858
I trust you. Care to elaborate? Just one more sentence is enough

>>728989957
Rogered, anon.

>Just one more sentence is enough
That's not how trust works but here I go,
It is a unique experience that you have not explored and you will want to.
>>
>>728989552
Honestly no from me.
The difficulty can vary A LOT between lucky runs and unlucky ones, and between those who know the have secret wands/items and those who don't.
Not only that, but the beginning is very repetitive, with you doing the same shit every time. If there were alternate spawn points it would be more interesting.
>>
the scope of the game is astounding when you start to grok it
>>
no it's not worth
it's a meme game. it's unfun shitty flash game level gameplay. don't let the pixel spam confuse you. it's just clicking with your mouse to shoot things and randomly dying from stupid enemies over and over
>>
>>728989828
Dumbest shit i've ever heard. Also if you have to ask about safely spending 8 fucking bucks, you should do other things with your time.
>>
>>728989552
it's a good game. if you're asking of there are mods to make it easier then it's not for you. it's for men with chest hair
>>
>>728990430
don't listen to this guy. he's gay
>>
>>728989552
It's kind of brutally difficult. Like you'll die hundreds of times before you "beat it" once in the easiest way. You'll hit a few walls that seem insurmountable, but eventually you'll learn some of the game's patterns, learn how to utilize a few of the weirder common spells, how to take less damage and explore more, etc. You gotta have some patience to enjoy this game. It's fucking awesome though.

I have chest hair anon :)

It's simultaneously shit and the greatest thing ever.
For mods, I recommend:
>HP Regen
This makes the game playable. You're still gonna die to random bullshit every now and then, but now you can at least explore at your own pace if you have some patience.
>Advanced Map
It helps to have a map, that's all.
>Some kind of inventory expansion mod, preferably the one with search and all the filters
It makes finding new spells fun since you can hoard them (up to a certain point)
>That one mod that allows you to search for a specific thing in a radius around you
No more hunting endlessly for add mana, reduce cooldown, ambrosia potion, etc. You still have to go find the thing, but now you at least get a warning when it's nearby.

IF YOU'RE REALLY DESPERATE ONLY:
>checkpoint mod
This WILL ruin the fun of the game. That being said, maybe you just want to take a run as far as it'll go for practice, like making the sun or whatever, this mod can help.

Or just don't get into this game at all. That chart really was right, it was made by psychopaths and only other psychopaths stick with it for the long haul.

i got to get back into this game, but was spending too much time playing it
>>
>>728989552
Yes.
Most of the difficulty is just you not knowing yet what or how things can kill you or how to turn what you have available into something good.
There are mods that make things easier, but I'd recommend just playing the game normally at first.

Watch "The worst guide to Noita" on youtube. You can watch about half of it (~12 mins)to get a good idea of how the game works without any major spoilers.

Difficulty is "somewhat bullshit"; you can beat the main part of the game with no guides but a lot of experimentation. Some of the side quests basically require reading the wiki, no way around it.
If you want to go in new and completely blind, all I can say is, try to get the Vampire or Wand experimenter perk as soon as possible because this is one of your few healing options in early game. Invisibility is also good. Spells with negative recharge time are essential. ^and no, you will not die hundreds of times unless you're trying to run through as fast as possible without studying things.

The late game is based around figuring out how many insane things you can do to break the mechanics, and trying to deal with the curveballs it throws at you that completely bypass your exploits.

..Basically it's just an autistic wizard simulator.

And a friendly reminder to STOP GIVING MONEY TO THE FAT FUCK when it's the same or cheaper on gog.

you can kill the fish boss in the deep lake with a single drop of mana. just let one go around it, wait, and then spawn it. itll "drown" instantly in the mana

this may of been patched
