The DLC equips (Isu-Forged Assassin's Spear and the DLC weapon that gives the Assassin Damage applies to nearby Enemies engraving) are not necessary, that's just a postgame thing to care about. But the Falx of Olympos is mandatory for its engraving, period. Then you need to make sure every single equip you get is Epic-tier with crit chance or crit damage on it. You need to have 100% crit chance and a minimum of 625% Crit Damage to one-shot Mercenaries without a Critical Assassinate that also hits a critical chance. With a Critical Assassinate and hitting the crit chance you need 475% I think it was?Crit pieces will always be Assassin Damage and you can easily start working on this build around the 40s which is when you really need to start getting gear and a build of some sort. Legendary armor is worthless, don't even consider it. It misses out on four extra Engravings because of the set buff.

You die in two hits no matter what (All nuAC games have a system where you can't be one-shot no matter how high the damage is as long as you're at around 80% HP) so the only value of upgrading your armor is to increase engraving tiers which only matters in 20-30 level increments. I used a level 43 leg piece until level 91 (Which is when it gets the final tier of the engraving) and then finally level matched it.Level matching as a system also sucks. You either have to do it every time you level up or the prices get astronomically high, but 3 levels of difference is the same as 50 levels of difference so it doesn't matter how long you wait after 3 levels, the cost will be the same.
