Is the Steam version any good? Xemu fucking stinks.
>>
>>728994627
Yes and more games should use mouse scroll wheel for movement speed
>>
>>728994627
xemu + 60fps patch will be the definitive way to play double agent someday…
>>
>>728994627
Yes, just play Chaos Theory on pc it's the better version.
Double agent though it's hit or miss, that game has 2 versions and on steam it only has the "next gen" version
so if you want to play the older versions you're in for a PCSX2 tour, because Xemu do indeed fucking sucks.

The PC version is phenomenal. infinitely better than the other Splinter Cell games' PC versions. Use this if you want better widescreen though https://fusionfix.io/wfp#scct
>>
>>728994627
There's a mod that restores all the Xbox stuff into the pc port
>>
>>728994627
Yes. I prefer playing on PC due to EAX and a DSOAL HRTF mod that gives me good 3D audio, not quite as comparable to Thief but it's close. So two reasons aside from simply the good mouse wheel movement speed thing.

What's wrong with Xemu?
>>
>>728994627
yeah

pandora tomorrow is cooler

PT sucks for a number of extremely valid reasons

>Lambert's VA was different.
>Rolling was changed to activate when the crouch button was tapped instead of held.
>Guards triggering alarms via radio was annoying

Why does xemu suck?
>>
>>728994627
I'm pretty sure the PC ports of first 3 Splinter Cell games are faithful to the Xbox originals unlike the PS2/GameCube ports which got cut down and altered levels with more loading screens

>>729001279
The PC port is broken
>>
>>728997687
>>729002282
It can barely run anything.
>>
>>729002370
Well that does suck, I guess.
>>
>>728994690
have you seen intravenous?
>>
>>729004459
I played Intravenous 2 with the campaign of the first game installed. It's pretty good. Going loud and culling all the guards from a defensible location is a good cheese strat.
>>
>>729001279
it really isn't

thats my main qualm with the game honestly, i hope the enemies have grenades and better tactics in the third game

does this make intravenous 1 obsolete?

When's the indie stealth game renaissance going to happen? I'm growing impatient with indie developers.
>>
>>729006153
any of these worth checking out ? apart from intravenous
>>
>>729007261
Cloak and dagger Shadow Operations is certainly a mixed bag and a flawed game in the end. But fortunately for you it is 50% off in the steam sale so you can try it out for yourself and not really be burned on the money. Like it needs that discount to be justifiable in any way unfortunately. I liked Transience but everyones picky about what makes a good stealth game. It's rough around the edges but i actually did really enjoy that one even if it doesn't really surpass Intravenous. No Sun to Worship is much like Cloak& Dagger, so short that it ends before you know it.

I see thanks anon

>still no sequel
