The physics still weren't up to part with Source/Havok but it's time to at least give credit to BOTW for at least attempting to have some physics and world interaction in it. Whether it's open world or not, weapon durability or not, cartoony or not, I don't want them to remove that from Zelda.The problem is that while BOTW was attempting, whether purposely or not to be HL2, TOTK went full Garry's Mod. You never go full Garry's Mod unless you're seriously trying to make a literal sandbox game instead of an action/adventure. I consider the Half-Life games more action/adventure games than FPS, and that makes me like the games more than most single player FPS, but that's a debate for another time.
Half Life 2's physics were impressive for 2004 but everything about the game except for the lip sync (which modern games cannot do anymore) has aged like milk.
