If your game has ground and walls that aren't interesting and worthwhile for an artist to make and the dev to pay for, you don't need to make that game

It's *because* devs have started to treat huge parts of their games as unimportant afterthoughts and necessary evils rather than chances for expression, that games have been slop for a while now, even before AI came along

If every dev that didn't want to make their ground and wall textures just didn't make their game at all, the game industry would be a better place
