anyone got a better "jrpg" recommendation than this? i know it's not one because its french

i liked the game until the story wrapped up and now i finally realize what a steaming pile of shit the combat is
there is virtually no balance and no wonder with 200 pictos being in the game it's impossible to do so
9999 damage cap was already a bit sus because its so lazy but lunes feet kept me distracted

early on i figured out a one shot tech (im sure there are many) and been steamrolling the game ever since barely checking even 10% of the skills available
i mean i could use a different setup but why bother
nothing is a challenge and im bored

i havent rly played jrpgs before but i really like the party setup type of fighting system and would like to play one with better combat and party synergy
any suggestions?
