Godd Howard stated that they would release TES6 in the same way as the Oblivion Remake aka without any prior warning. I think Valve is planning the same thing with Half Life 3 and that’s why there was no announcement at the game awards. So I expect in either 2026 or 2027 these two games will suddenly be released with a most a trailer a month before. This seems to be the new tactic when brining out new games in a beloved series. There is no need for hype because the hype is already there, just drop release suddenly and take the audience by surprise. This is why there have been no updates from either Valve or Bethesda about these new games.
