First purchase off the cart this sale was Ninja Saviors, and just as I remembered, if it was not for Yaksha I would not really care for this game. These resource throttled technical characters with fun combo routes really ought to be standardized in beat em ups, same reason I like Hunter in AvP. Another amazing foresight this game had was avoiding the "attack chaining for scoring" trend and instead designed itself for time trials, as it feels pretty good to mow through enemies as a result. Just about every modern beat em up gets this wrong. SoR4 is a perfect example of why not to do this with its really boring and repetitive juggling, and lackluster stage design.

Starcraft 1 is the best for a reason, but you would need to dedicate quite a lot of time and effort to not have an extremely shit time playing it. SC2 is less good but takes way less investment. AOE2 has a complex economy game, and it is probably easier to find really low level players to play with. You could also plays sins of a solar empire 1+2, they're both fun space RTS.
