You are now remembering HoN.I remember there were constantly, very annoying consolwarfaggotry threads about LoL vs HoN.I've actually got nothing to say, I've never played either games, just 'membering. It's just feels unnerving how something that used to be pretty big got completely memory holed (while it's competitor is still as cancerous as ever). It's like if Pepsi were to go out of business, the whole brand would be forgotten overnight.
LoL vs HoN vs DotA is like the Special Olympics where the real Olympics are other AoS custom maps and proper RTS melee
They fucked up big time with their monetization model and that killed the game. Pinoys never quit because I think they always had f2p via Garena until the real f2p patch, and I dont mean the shitty one where you had to unlock heroes. Every fuck up after that f2p patch doesn't matter, they already fucked up too hard.

>>729003382No I remember Tides of Blood. The 4th and horrible game where I was too young to realize broken shit really existed in it that ended development.
At the time (before Dota 2 released), HoN was the most competitive/skill-based of the two. It was like comparing Quake to something like Halo or Call of Duty. They royally fucked the game up, though. It always had problems, even when it was at it's peak.
>>729003382weren't they gonna release a remake this year?
hon had a box price while lol was f2p, it had no chance
>>729006397it DID release but as an open beta
>>729003382HoN was always my favorite, shame they lost to casuals and slop.
