What am I in for?
The worst jrpg ever made. i bought this the day it came out and like 20 years later i am STILL mad.
a low budget e-board game that was intended to be paired with a guide book akin to a game masters book in tabletops but it was sold separately and only in japan thanks to square enix. so the end result is a confusing piece of shit. if you spend time actually studying the game it's decent.

I somehow cleared most side quests and made it to the final boss only looking up a walkthrough for one brief section, but then gave up as I was a little bit too under leveled to beat Chaos. Enjoyed it for the most part but there are a few skills that are completely worthless and being forced to take a new skill on level up that can outright fuck up a character's whole build is very annoying. Abilities that help with disabling traps are nice and you should always rest (with Select) whenever you can. And for the love of God, don't make your characters jacks of all trades with their attack skills, stick to two, max. Hard focusing on one type of melee or weapon is ideal as it's basically pure RNG if you'll learn stronger moves, so try to assign a 'role' to each character.
