PC gaming so so SOOOO fucked. It’s about time that these companies better learn to fucking optimize their games.Should we have any hope this will happen in 2026?
>>729006674You voted and shilled for drump.Enjoy.
>>729006751Trump has nothing to do with this.
you want to generate cat videos and pedo porn?this is the price you pay
>>729006674AI code will optimize the games :^)
game streaming will be back with a vengeance, and this time it will succeed because it will be the only option outside of $5k+ PCs
>>729007069MIGAtards are next level retarded god damn
>>729006674>>Should we have any hope this will happen in 2026?yes, developers will have to optimize for the Gabecube since its the only thing gamers will be able to afford for the next 5 years
>>729007904This is about RAM. Not politics.
>>729007896>game streaming will be back with a vengeanceno, it won't. the economics of game streaming are affected just as much as regular PC building and owning. why the fuck would I run a server farm for "game streaming" when AI suckers are going to pay me way more to run their latest attempt at faking AGI?
>>729007896Yep. Eventually consoles like Nintendo, Playstation and Xbox won't exist. Pc's won't exist. Everyone will own the same hardware with the same specs. A terminal used to connect to the cloud, you will use that terminal for everything, no more consoles wars, no variety, everything will be homogeneous.
>>729008095this belief is cult-like. it has no basis in reality whatsoever. we are literally moving further away from this scenario in real-time, yet you cultists take it as evidence that the scenario is now becoming MORE likely. idiots.
>>729007824unironically does a better job at it than pajeets
>>729007069he's allowing OpenAI to use infinite money to do whatever they want to try to salvage the shit post-covid economy, he has everything to do with it
>>729008936doesnt AI not make any money though? its like a circular economy, Nvidia is paying OpenAI to buy their chips...
>>729006674>PC gaming so so SOOOO fucked.I don't know what you have a problem with. I can sell my AM5 rig with 32MB ram for such a high price that I can get a decent GPU for the first time in ten years, and use it with my backup AM4 machine that I have yet to sell. Plus the inability for hardware to improve will mean that programmers will be forced to get competent if they want graphical improvements. Not that we need those nowadays.
games look worse than they did 10 years ago on hardware several times more powerfulthis is a good thing, it will in fact force companies to fix their fucking games
>>729006674only an issue if you're one of those gotta have current thing simpletons.
Consoles use RAM too
