It's pretty much the same game, and added cutscene is nothingburger unless you have an autistic attachment to the original story.
The problem is that they are basically trying to sell a very underwhelming minor update as a completely separate game.
I get that they made it for Switch 2, but calling it "director's cut" and slapping it with inflated price was absolutely retarded.
