For me it was less about the dating censorship(yes you were supposed to be able to fuck lolidols) and more about the tonal shift.The idea was that you could be both a good producer and keep the idol happy by paying them properly, interacting and listening to their wishes, or you could just blatantly exploit them, force them into jobs they don't want to do and cause infighting. That part wasn't really developed as it should.
I can't believe I wasted like 5 hours on this garbage trying to unlock some porn scenes. Im glad someone else is already on his way to fix the main issue with the game.
