saw a thread yesterday and I didn't get to respond to it but it went something like this:>why is ansem human and sora a weak shadow when they're heartless?And my theory is this:The Ansem we see is merely an illusion. Or what his heartless looks like to others. The cum guardian is Ansem's real form.I don't know if someone answered this but I thought that was interesting.
This is also why I think Kairi picked out Sora in the middle of several other shadows. And as for why Sora ended up as just a shadow and not something stronger is simply because there seems to be a 'level-up' system for the heartless as we already know purebloods evolve into insignia heartless when they take hearts. Based on the personality of the person that died, and the amount of hearts that heartless get, they could transform into several different forms.
