I don't care if it's Kenshi-levels of jank as long as it's got a not-shit gameplay loop. I want it to have ambiance and some nod to shanties or at least a varied and fun orchestral soundtrack or something. I have been looking at some pirate games and they just don't capture the immersive sim I want. Unironically we need a 3D Starsector of pirating.

I forgot to say as well I'd prefer if it had tons of hours of gameplay like Kenshi, but I feel like that would even be more of a niche that's not filled currently.
