I give Skyrim a pass on a lot of things, but it was very lazy of Bethesda to have Ulfric gladly welcome into his faction a player character of any race including Dunmer. You should have to jump through some additional hoops to join the Stormcloaks if you're not a Nord, but that would mean adding a new quest and recording some extra dialogue, so forget it. Ulfric is magically not racist regarding the player character, and that's just how it is.I was also very disappointed when I went to the orc strongholds as an orc and got just one or two lines of dialogue acknowledging my racial kinship.
