This is a shitpost thread, but having dwelt on the narrative for some time I'll take the time to say Injustice was contrived, but an anon put into perspective how the point of its narrative in the comic at least isn't to shame Superman or killing but unravel the psychological complications of vigilantism.

Superman wasn't "sliding" down the slipper slope, he was intentionally dragging everyone else down it from their fears and faults to force them to confront them as he had to.

It was the fact no one in their circle took the time to just kill scum like Joker before Superman's city, wife and child were threatened that he had to go through all that, it was the fact all the other heroes had their lives undisturbed that magnified the sense of isolation, compounded the sense of undue judgment from them.

It's why he goes after Aquaman to rattle his sense he can protect his people without dirtying his hands and barges into the Batcave to taunt Bruce into admitting he's as much of a sadist hoping the brighter heroes suffer the torment he has, it's why he gets a Sinestro ring fueled by fear, on and on the series goes with Superman basically placing the DC universe into violent therapy sessions until they concede everything they said is black and white might have greys or destroy themselves trying to prove otherwise, the very burden he'd endured until them for everyone else.

It's also why instead of further indulging the power fantasy Superman finds himself in a dream world where Batman stepped up sooner and everything's better without Superman needing to force it to be. Which is why as more a discussion than a debate it "cops out" from a clear answer from having either side defeated and just has a more morally upstanding Superman show up and squash the argument.
From that lense it's cheap, but serviceable.

The fighting game was also entertaining enough, but NRS can't quite deliver the way Capcom did with Marvel Superheroes.

"Prep time" takes on a whole new meaning.
