I've always wanted to clock how long it takes to get through Hyrule Field for the total run of the game. If you wanted to cut down the number of trips as much as humanly possible.>First run out of Kokiri Forest (Maybe head to Lon Lon Ranch first)>Impa warps, run to Kakariko>Kakariko to Zora's Domain entry>Run to Castle Town after getting all three stones>Castle Town Lon Lon, grab Epona>Lon Lon to Kokiri Forest>Kokiri Forest to Kakariko again>Kakariko to Zora's/Lake Hylia>Lake Hylia back to Kakariko>Finally to Spirit TempleLike that has to count as less than 15 minutes all told, especially if you know where to go. But after all that besides some Skulltulas and a Heart Piece grotto you don't need to go to Hyrule Field again. It's the same to me as people complaining about Navi being annoying when she barely pops up.
